When I was a kid I had a non-working 35mm camera. It was one of the best toys I owned. I can’t believe my children will have their own cameras that take photos they can put on the computer.

These days its so easy for children to take up digital photography even as young as two. There are specialist digital kids camera makers like Vtech who produce really user friendly units which are big and colourful to interest toddlers. However around five or so these cameras run out of steam, you are better off getting an 'adult' camera which are so inexpensive now, particularly if you find a good refurbished or used unit. Today, it's very easy to become a photographer, especially with the popularity of really inexpensive digital cameras. Oooooo cool. I am totally in the market for an inexpensive digital camera! But was sort of worried I would be missing out on a lot if I don’t spend the extra cash and buy a pricy one. I am glad you think otherwise! Awesome.
