I have purchased digital cameras in the past from Olympus. I highly recommend this brand. I didn’t realize that Amazon is selling refurbished cameras. I do regard these as good as a new one and at a discounted price.

Some of the higher end digital can get expensive so this discount from Amazon is a good deal.

Yes, you’re right that any failure is typically due to mechanical or simply dropping the camera.

I have a nokia N96, and I’m pretty happy with it.. Only thing is, there are so many fakes around! Man, some of them you can’t even see they are fake, unless you do a really close examination.
We have a shop where we also offer a repair service, and I can tell you, many people come in with fake Nokia 96! They think it’s a real one, and they want us to repair it! LOL Some crazy people out there
